HAND-STAMPED & PAINTED ARTWORK
Using an image sourced from an antiquarian book, this artwork was hand-stamped with archival ink and hand-painted with natural dye (steeped tea) on acid-free / archival paper.
As this item is made by hand, individual pieces may vary slightly in color (natural dye varies in hue from batch to batch), alignment, and application of ink / dye. Initial color may range anywhere from greyish-blue/purple to warm grey.
Due to the living nature of natural dyes, the color and intensity of the dye will change over time (aging to a taupe / light yellow-brown).
